These Police Officers #Respect

William Isbell, 79 of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn., hadn’t eaten for two days when he called the police asking for assistance. He said he had no food in his home, so officers came to the house with armloads of groceries.

In photos, the policemen can be seen stocking the kitchen with what they estimated to be about a month’s worth of food, the Columbia Daily Herald reported. The cops spent $160 of their own money to ensure Isbell was secure for a while.

“I thank them for everything they do for me,” Isbell told the paper.
