Fan Xuesong of Hainan Airlines has been praised as the “most beautiful flight attendant” in China after feeding a partially paralyzed 71-year-old passenger and moving him to tears.
Fan initially changed the seat of Mr. Niu, a retired professor of medicine, so that he could have more space during the flight. At mealtime, Fan noticed the man’s hand trembling as he held a spoon, so without much thought, she kneeled in front of him, asked if he needed assistance and fed him the meal.
Shocked by the attention she’s received online, Fan responded by saying, “Mr. Niu worked hard all his life and contributed to society. We should be kind to him.” (via Shanghaiist)
