Officer Goldman of Hueytown Police Department in Alabama was in Food Giant buying groceries when he saw a young man with duct tape on his shoes. Goldman asked whether it was some kind of fashion statement, and the man, who was a cashier at the store, said no. He just couldn’t afford a new pair at the time. Goldman casually asked his shoe size and left the store, only to return an hour later with a new pair of 12.5 size shoes in hand. “Everyone at Food Giant this morning was in tears when he brought them to the young man.” (via Facebook)
