A local professor on the island of Lesbos in Greece uploaded a photo that has gone viral of stray dogs napping inside a place called Hott Spott cafe.
“In the city, there are many dogs,“ Antonis, a waiter at the cafe, told the Independent. “When the bar closes each night, the dogs come and sleep here. We don’t have a problem. [Since] July, every night there is a dog on the couch.” Stray dogs have particularly been an issue in Greece since the country’s recent debt crisis. “Customers have no problems,” Antonis said of the dogs’ presence. “It is a bit of a thing now – lots of people come with their cell phones.” (via Facebook/Independent)
